Blackberry Hollow L.L.C.Blackberry Hollow L.L.C.
Blackberry Hollow LLC opened its doors to the public May 25th 2012 and had a great Memorial Weekend!
My name is Sherri Petersen and I would like to Welcome you to Blackberry Hollow L.L.C.
If you have a houseful to sell, a few items for consignment or need floor space for a booth come and see us.We welcome the opportunity to work with you and to help you market and sell your items. In some cases we may be able to help you liquidate an estate or large collection.
Ludington has numerous Antique Malls and Dealers. When you come into town for the day or weekend it is easiest to start your day with breakfast or anice cream cone at the House of lavors before crossing the street to Coles Antiques Villa.
After leaving Coles head over to Maude's Garage at the corner of Ludington Avenue and Rath Avenue where you will find an eclectic mix of Shabby Shic, Antiques and other novelties. Once you leave Maudes go down one block to James Street and turn right, at the end of the first block is The Antique Store and from there it is a short walk across the street and down three doors to Blackberry Hollow.
After leaving Blackberry Hollow you can drive south another couple of blocks and stop at Sunset Bay Antique Mall. Christa's Antiques is in the Fourth Ward on the corner of Madison and Second Street.
We plan that by January 2013 we will have completed the commercial kitchen and will be offerring a limited menu in the store that includes a Hot Dog Bar, Coffee, Homemade Pies, Cookies, and Candy. You'll be able to stop in and grab a quick bite while shopping.
Yes thats right January.... Our plan is to remain open year around, take a seat at the diner counter where we have vintage stools from the 1950's and have a slive of my home baked pie and a scoop of ice cream.
The room in the back of 205 S James has a great skylight, and we are decorating that room to be a tea room, one that you will be able to reserve by the hour. The room only is large enough for a small party but it is an intimate and fun room to have a small tea party in.
Wide brimmed tea hats, old pearls, and fun is available there. Bring your children for a Mother Daughter tea, finger sandwhiches, fruit in season, and more await you.
We are also putting in a retro candy display, from hard candies and candy sticks to Oh Henry and Zagnut all of those wonderful treats that you used to find at the corner five and dime are being sought out and will be available.
